Resolution 5:  Alternatively fees may be paid in ten monthly installments from January to October (inclusive), via debit order from your personal bank account.   (You are encouraged to consider this convenient option which assists the school's financial management, and which the majority of parents choose)

Resolution 6:  The full amount of outstanding school fees becomes due and payable immediately on any default of your selected payment method. This is according to, Section 40 and 41 of SASA, and the school may enforce the payment of these compulsory fees.

Resolution 7:  The school may record the parent/parents non-performance with a bureau, should they fail to meet their school fee obligation.

Resolution 8: The payment of Additional Remuneration (Section 38A of SASSA)

Resolution 9: Criteria for Exemption in accordance with SASA act 84 of 1996

Criteria for exemption

Where parents require assistance with the school fees, an application must be made on the prescribed exemption application documents available from the Bursar at the finance office.

All exemptions applications will be considered using the following criteria:

ü  For the management of the Exemption Process, Applications are open from the 6th of December 2017 until the 25th of January 2018.

ü  If fees equal 10% or more of the joint gross income, parents qualify for full exemption.

ü  If fees are between 2.5% and 10% of the joint gross income, parents qualify for a partial exemption, also depending on the number of children the parents have attending a public school.

PLEASE NOTE :

Half the school fees must be paid by 30 June 2018.

The entire school fee account must be settled by 31 October 2018. If not the account will be handed over for debt collection.

We would like to encourage parents to make payments via direct bank deposits, EFT's or the debit order system. This would decrease the amount of cash brought onto the school premises which always poses a security risk.
