Procedure for early dismissal of learners

Learners MUST have a letter from the parent/ guardian explaining why the learner needs to be dismissed early.


The letter should include the following:

1) Name and Grade of learner.

2) Explanation as to why the learner needs to be dismissed early on the day.

3) A time at which the learner will be collected from the school.

4) Contact details of parent/ guardian.


  • The learner should hand this letter to his/ her class registration teacher during registration period/ first period.
  • Any learner without a letter will NOT be allowed to leave the school premises early, unless the school is contacted by the parent/ guardian in an event of an emergency or family matter.
  • Parents/ guardians collecting learners for early dismissal are required to report to reception.
